CENTRAL CITY

4-lane to casino town slated to open Friday

The new four-lane, 8.4-mile Central City Parkway is scheduled to open to the public at noon Friday, officials for the privately built road said.

The $38 million highway will run from Hidden Valley (Exit 243) on Interstate 70 into downtown Central City, getting motorists into the gambling town from the interstate in 12 minutes, officials said.
